14-year-old Austin Kempton from West Alexandria, Ohio, enjoys some hang time with his favorite band, newsboys, on Wednesday, July 8, in Antioch, Tenn. Austin was selected from 16,000 fans who entered HearItFirst.com’s “Win An Aussie Backyard BBQ with newsboys” contest in conjunction with the band’s May 5, 2009 release, In The Hands of God.Austin and his father received complimentary airfare, accommodations, and transportation in Nashville as well as an American Express gift card, newsboys merchandise, a tour of Inpop Records, and VIP tickets to newsboys’ Mystery Artist appearance at Camp Electric.
