Matt Maher, David Nassar To Join “Turn the Music Down” Tour

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) April 16, 2009 - Inpop Records artist Shane and Shane will headline the “Turn the Music Down” tour, kicking off April 16 in Springfield, Mo. and wrapping up May 9 in Cave Creek, Ariz. Author/speaker David Nassar (Glory Revealed, A Call to Die) and Essential Records artist Matt Maher join Shane and Shane for a night of worship and teaching to encourage believers to seek and save the lost.

“We are excited about this tour and look forward to people coming out to experience more than songs,” says Shane Everett. “Matt Maher is an amazing worship leader and David Nasser is an amazing communicator of God’s Word. We, Shane and Shane, will wrap up the night with a selection of music focusing on what the Lord spoke through David and Matt. Christian music’s favorite songwriting duo, Shane & Shane releases its first-ever Christmas project,Glory In The Highest (A Christmas Record) on Oct. 14. The twosome will perform songs from its new album on a special holiday tour to select cities beginning early December.

Recorded at their own Spaceway Studios, the album, produced by Jason Hoard (Fee), also marks Shane Everett and Shane Barnard’s mix and engineering debut. Containing 11 total songs with a jazzy country/gospel flare, the disc includes eight classic Christmas favorites like “Away in a Manger,” “Silent Night,” “O Come O Come Emmanuel,” and “O Holy Night,” which will be serviced to radio, as well as three original songs including the title track and “Born To Die.” The complete track listing is as follows:
